40 sheep died due to lightning in Makalu Rural Municipality-3 Siddanekhark. District Police Office Police Inspector Ram Kumar Lamichhane informed that 40 sheep were killed by lightning in Tek Bahadur Meghi's sheepfold of Makalu-3 Simma on Friday night.
There were 250 sheep in the barn.
The police said that they are trying to get more information about the incident through the local police office Hedangna.
