Distribution of agricultural materials to 750 farmers of Bhojpur

In Pauwadung, the rural municipality has distributed agricultural materials to 750 farmers. With the goal of making the village self-sufficient in agriculture, agricultural materials worth 51 lakhs have been distributed to the farmers here.

Navin Bhattarai, the chief administrative officer of the rural municipality, informed that the rural municipality has distributed the necessary agricultural materials with 50 percent subsidy based on the demand of the farmers. Professional  Administrative officer Bhattarai said that mulching plastic, plastic tunnels, hand tractors, plastic ponds, sprays and agricultural materials worth Rs.

'We are distributing agricultural materials to farmers with 50 percent cost sharing,' Administrative Officer Bhattarai said, 'In the first phase, we have started distributing agricultural materials worth 51 lakhs through bidding. This year, the target is to hand over materials worth about 70 lakhs.'

Farmers will be given 1,500 rolls of mulching plastic, 700 tunnel plastic, 78 electric sparers, 15 hand tractors, he said. Village Vice President Jyotsana Rai said that they are providing necessary support based on the business they are doing. According to Vice President Rai, agricultural materials have been distributed with a large investment to make farmers economically capable by making them professional.

'We have been encouraging farmers to become professionals,' Vice President Rai said, 'We have supported farmers based on demand.' Vice President Rai said that necessary agricultural materials are being distributed to the farmers every year.

According to the geography, the rural municipality has stated that it is investing in agriculture in a planned manner by determining the pocket area. Village chairman Kiran Rai said that they are investing in agriculture with the aim of making it a model. President Rai says that the rural municipality will play a role in the marketing of the agricultural produce produced here. 

'Farmers can be financially empowered only through the sustainable development of the agricultural sector,' Chairman Rai said, 'We are working for the planned development of agriculture. With the investment in agriculture, crores of income has started coming in from Akbare Khursani alone in the rural municipality. Our goal is to make the village self-sufficient in agriculture. Accordingly, we have emphasized on programs that encourage farmers.

Local farmer Tek Bahadur Thapa said that after the rural municipality provided agricultural materials and other support, they were encouraged to start farming in a commercial way. He says that the rural municipality has been providing necessary support to the farmers since the past. 

'With the help of the village municipality, there has been an incentive to start agriculture,' he said, 'The rural municipality has been giving agricultural materials at different times. This time I got a roll of mulching plastic. There is a thought to cultivate Akbare chilli commercially by mulching.'

Local farmer Balkumar Khadka said that the work being done by the rural municipality to encourage farmers in Pauwadung is commendable. He says that the support of the rural municipality has given more support to start agriculture. "The work done by the village municipality in the field of agriculture is good," he said, "since the past, the rural municipality has been supporting the farmers."
