The team found that the team had gone to shoot photos and videos for the Red Panda and Thar Festival to be organized by Diktel Rupakot Majhuwagadhi Municipality on 1st Baisakh. President of Merung Community Forest Consumer Group Palamsin Rai said that during the search in Kopche and Merung Community Forests since March 1st, it was found at 8:40 AM on the border of Merung and Kopche Community Forests at an altitude of 2,781 meters.

Redpanda was searched for by dividing into different groups. Of these, Diktel Rupakot was seen by Prachanda Rai of Majhuwagadhi Municipality-8 Bualung at the beginning. Then photos and videos were taken. The red panda is a male of around two and a half years old, said local and Red Panda Heralu Pushpalal Giri of Merung Community Forest. Giri says that there may be five red pandas in the Merung Community Forest. "It is estimated that there may be about five red pandas in this area," Giri said.
