General Secretary of Nepal Communist Party Netra Vikram Chand has said that people's disillusionment with the republic is about to be lost because it cannot be implemented as per the expectations of the people. In an interaction on 'Current Politics and Socialism Journey' organized by Press Center Morang in Biratnagar, he said that it was not enough to have a republic and that the system could not be implemented as per the expectations of the people, and the dissatisfaction was sparked.
'If there was no republic, our country would have gone into darkness for another hundred years,' he added.
Chand pointed out the problems of the current Nepali society and claimed that crisis and extreme political contradictions have created a crisis in the economy. 'There is an economic-political crisis due to broker capitalism,' he added, 'the oppressed class, Dalits, women and Madhesi are still not satisfied, which is why Nepali society is stuck in a big political quagmire.'
He said that scientific socialism is the only way out of politics. 'Backsliding is an accident. "The way out is progress and republic," he said.
He said that unity among Maoists is possible He mentioned that it will take some time to form a single party. "However, we can move forward by forming a front," he said.
He raised his voice in favor of the referendum and claimed, '80 percent people are in favor of the republic.'
