59 people were operated on in 3 days during the free five-day orthopedic camp organized at the district hospital.
Out of 837 patients with joint problems, 59 have been operated till Thursday.
The camp was organized in the joint project of Fidim Municipality, Nepal Orthopedic Hospital Jorpati, Rotary Club of Lalitpur and Panchthar District Hospital. In the
camp, work is being done such as removing the arms and steel from the body, fixing broken and bent bones and performing operations.
According to the head of Fidim Municipality, Mitra Prasad Kafle, 59 people were operated on and 837 people were examined by the third day as part of the five-day camp. Specialist doctors from Orthopedic Hospital Kathmandu are participating in the
camp. The camp will be conducted till March 9.
