18 people of the 'No Cable Car' group, who were arrested after the clash that took place in the evening of March 10, during the Ranke procession, have been released on bail. The bench of District Court Judge Bikas Shrestha today ordered that Janahi be released on a bond of 20,000. They have been released after posting bail.

Kanchan Ghimire, a lawyer from the District Attorney's Office on behalf of the government, and lawyers Balram Bhattai, Ram Thapa, Devraj Menyangbo and Thakur Limbu argued on behalf of the protesting group. After the statement today, there was a closed debate and an order.  

They were charged with criminal nuisance and rioting. Navin Pomu, Sunita Kerung, Yogendra Lavati, Anup Subba, Nirmala Darnal known as Deeksha, Indira Dhourali, Viken Limbu, Tularam Tamang, Juran Rai, Hariraj Khimding Limbu, Aman Rai, Arjun Tamang, Vishal Subba, Ixa Limbu, Niha Chemjong, Subas Tumbahamfe and Sandeep Kedem are among those released. Naveen, Sandeep and Subas are from Taplejung while others are from Panchthar, Sunsari, Jhapa and other districts.
