Expired food and other items have been seized and destroyed in Baksila market, the center of Kepilasgarhi Rural Municipality. Food and other items worth more than 38,000 were destroyed during monitoring on Wednesday.
According to District Administration Office Khotang officer Hiradhan Rai, goods worth 38 thousand eight hundred and ten rupees including biscuits, flour, dalmoth, mung nuts, juice, spices, raspberries, oil, ajina, furandana, ice cream, lollipops, fennel, saraf etc. were seized and destroyed.
"While monitoring the Baxila market, various types of food and other items have been seized and destroyed," said Rai.
District Administration, Household and Small Industries Office, Kepilasgarhi Rural Municipality, Kepilasgarhi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Area Police Office Baxila and other concerned bodies have been seized and destroyed by Rai said.
