47-year-old Dhanprasad Bhandari of Sidingwa rural municipality-6, Mehele, working in the Upper Kabeli hydropower project, was found dead. His dead body was found in Kabeli river at the foot of Muktura Bhir in Sirijanga-5 Pedang.
District Police Office Information Officer and Police Inspector Vivek Basnet informed that Bhandari's body was found stuck on a stone block in the river. The family searched after Bhandari, who had gone to work on the hydroelectric project on Friday morning, did not return till evening.
The local police informed the area police office Telok after seeing the body in the river. According to Durga Khanal, inspector of Telok area police office, the locals believe that he died after falling from Bhir. Khanal informed that an investigation has been started about the incident.
