Health and Population Minister Pradip Paudel has said that there should be a partnership between the three levels of government for the modernization and sustainable operation of the health institutions operating at the rural level.
Minister Paudel said this while addressing a program organized after the inauguration of a five-bed hospital built in Falelung Rural Municipality-3 of Panchthar. Minister Paudel said that even though there are health institutions in villages, there are complaints that there are no health workers.
'Even though health institutions and development infrastructure are being built at the rural level, doctors and nurses do not live there, so the number of migrants is increasing day by day. The federal government provides doctors and some equipment for the development and sustainable operation of health institutions near Ghardailo. Doctors alone cannot run hospitals, nurses and other health workers are needed along with doctors.
Minister Paudel said that the trend of building infrastructure at the municipality level by spending crores of rupees but not planning for its sustainable operation is increasing, and now the local government should be responsible for preventing it. Now let's move towards promoting Raithane production,' said Minister Paudal.
The construction of a 5-bed hospital started in 2078 in Falelung Rural Municipality-3 Namluwa has been completed recently. Union and local governments have spent 120 million 233 thousand 114 rupees on the construction of the building.
