It has been revealed that two young men who were arrested on Saturday from Chaubise rural municipality-3 Garigaon on the charge of holding two teenage girls hostage and sexually abusing them are fugitive accused in the duty killing case.

Two 14-year-old girls from Urlabari in Morang were rescued from a house in Garigaon on Saturday morning by the police. Police arrested 19-year-old Prateek Vick of Urlabari-5 Surya Chowk and 19-year-old Sanish Yakkha of Chaubise-3 Garigaon on the charge of sexual exploitation of hostages.

District Police Spokesperson DSP Omprakash Khanal informed that the absconding accused in the case of Vik and Yakkha who were arrested during the investigation have been confirmed. "It was confirmed that they were fugitive accused of dutiful killing while the body hostage and extortion crime was being investigated," said DSP Khanal, "Further investigation of the incident is underway." DSP Khanal said that Yakkha was sentenced to 8 years 6 days and Vic 6 years 2 months 6 days. According to the court verdict, they killed a man from Morang. They were absconding after the incident. According to the police, both of the fugitives took the two teenagers hostage again and forced them. In the same case, Dhankuta police has started the legal process.

Vic and Yakkha were rescued after being held hostage for the past three days. Police spokesperson Khanal said that both the girls were kept in the house of local Sanish Yakkha and were rescued. According to the police, the girl was driven away from Lalife by Vick and Yakkha. They were detained by the police stationed at Mudhebas Chowki. The district police said that the investigation into the incident is continuing.
