The police rescued two teenage girls from Garigaon in Choubise rural municipality-3 of Dhankuta.
District Police Spokesperson DSP Omprakash Khanal informed that the 14-year-old girl from Morang Urlabari was rescued from a house in Garigaon on Saturday morning.
According to the police, they were rescued after being held hostage for three days. Speaker Khanal said that both the girls were held hostage in the house of local Sanish Yakkha. 19-year-old Prateek Vick of Urlabari Municipality-5 Surya Chowk and 19-year-old Sanish Yakkha of Chaubise-3 Garigaon have been arrested for being involved in the
incident. According to the police, they drove away the girl from Lalife.
Mudhebas police station detained both of them and the police have started investigation at the district police office.
