A man and a woman were found dead in Barahapokhari Rural Municipality. Deputy Superintendent of Police Pratik Bista informed that 22-year-old Savita Bista and 18-year-old Shikhar Basnet were found dead in the Dandakhark forest of Barahpokhari-1 on Wednesday morning.
According to him, they were without contact since Tuesday afternoon.
Savita's body was found dead around 7 am with sharp weapon injuries and Shikhar hanging about 22 meters below it. The team assigned under the command of DSP reached the spot and started the investigation.
The woman is a mother of a 2-year-old daughter, while the man is single.
