Khandbari-Kimathanka road was opened after two days. The road was blocked since Monday morning after a landslide occurred at Bhotkhola on the Khandbari-Kimathanka road section under the Koshi highway.

Information Officer of North South Koshi Road Project Naresh Jirel said that after the landslides between Hatia and Hungung of Bhotkhola rural municipality were removed, the road became operational from Wednesday. According to him, a landslide with large stones fell from 15 meters above the road section.

This road is the shortest road connecting neighboring countries China-India. Khandbari of National Pride - Kimathanka road project so far  53 crore more has been spent.
