The training of students to make decorative materials from garbage has started. Diktel Rupakot Majhuwagadhi municipality has started training on making different types of decorative materials by collecting the waste emitted from plastic within the city area.
50 students from 13 different schools within the city are participating in the training, said Subash Chandra Rai of the Education Branch of Diktel Rupakot Majhuwagadhi Municipality. According to him, in the training, toys, flowers and other decorative materials will be made from waste emitted from plastic products. "The training has been organized targeting the students of 13 schools within the city area," he said. Bam Baniyan, Vice President of National Child Rights Council, Mayor Tirtharaj Bhattarai, Vice President Wisan Rai, Coordinator Director of Educational Reform Task Force Surya Bahadur Rai and others participated in the
program.
