One person was killed when a tractor loaded with sand No. 2 No. 1929 crashed on the inner road section located in Gaopalika-6 in front of Sankhuwasabha Assembly.

According to the police, 19-year-old Rabi Baraili of Chainpur Municipality-6 died when the tractor driver went out of control on the road and fell into a ditch 60 meters below the road. He was seriously injured and died on Friday morning during treatment.

Similarly, police said that 27-year-old Upendra Rai of Makalu rural municipality-6 died due to electric shock. He was electrocuted on Thursday evening and was declared dead by District Hospital Sankhuwasabha on Thursday night.

Rai was a worker working in the complete electrification project. He was electrocuted while working without turning off the electricity.
