The Nepal Teachers' Federation has staged a sit-in at the Education Development and Coordination Unit Panchthar. In the Federation of Teachers, some teachers, members and officers tied their hands with black armbands and staged a sit-in for an hour at the office on Friday. The agitating party has also submitted a letter of attention to the government through Braj Bhushan Rai, Acting Head of Education Development and Coordination Unit.

In the attention letter, the Nepal government has announced that teachers' federation, relief teachers, child development and schools  It has been asked to implement the 22-point agreement made by the staff sag last October.

The federation, which has expressed dissatisfaction with the government's issuance of an ordinance to introduce a new education law, has been demanding that temporary teachers should be made permanent, teachers appointed according to the old education law should be given pensions, school staff and child development teachers should be retained and made permanent, and service facilities should be provided as teachers. 

Similarly, the Federation also demands that teachers should be promoted every 10 years according to the level of qualified teachers, should be matched with civil servants of the same grade level, and the broken service period of conflict-affected teachers should be counted.
