Falgunand rural municipality ward no. Sukhbir Nemwang, president of 3, has given a mourning leave.
Brijahang Angdembe, the chairman of the rural municipality, published a condolence statement and said that it has been decided to give bereavement leave to be applied to the village municipality, ward offices, health and educational institutions as well as banks and financial institutions.
Ward president Nemwang died at the age of 46 on Wednesday morning due to cancer in his mouth. Elected as the ward president of Falgunand-3 twice in 2074 and 2079, Nemwang was a former volleyball player and the incumbent congress president of Falgunand Rural Municipality.
