6 MPs of National Assembly have reached Golabazar of Bhotkhola through Khandbari. The team that arrived in Khandbari on Wednesday came to Sankhuwasabha to monitor the Kimathanka road. The chairman and members of the National Assembly's Federalization and National Concerns Committee have reached Bhotkhola for road monitoring of the Koshi Corridor.

Chairman of the committee Sonam Gelzen Sherpa, members Kiranbabu Shrestha, Gopi Bahadur Sarki Achami, Durgakumari Gurung, Manrupa Sharma and Rajendralakshmi Gayre, the staff of the committee, Deputy Secretary Saraswati Marhattha and Branch Officer Narayan Bahadur Karki came to monitor the road, Uttarkoshi Road Office Chief Ram Bahadur Gurung said.

They came to Tumlingtar by plane on Wednesday. A team of three people including an engineer from the road office has also been sent to the team. The parliamentarians have taken information about the condition of road construction under Khandbari-Kimathanka road up to Bhotkhola Rural Municipality-4 Barun Bazar. The team will return on Thursday after monitoring the road from Khandbari to Barunkhola, which is 80 km away. Since the condition of the road is not good to reach Kimathanka above there, it is said that there is a program to return to Khandbari after site inspection up to Barun River.

The road distance from Khandbari to Kimathanka is 162 km. The North-South Koshi road was established in 066 and the work was started. On January 14th, Deepak Khadka, Minister of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation of the government, Devendra Dahal, Minister of Physical Infrastructure, and Defense Minister Manveer Rai did the 'break through' of the road.

80 km from Khandbari to Barun Khola is a regular vehicle traffic, but there is no way to move vehicles above that.
