The group, which has been opposing the construction of the Pathibhara cable car, will hold a pada yatra and Kshama Puja at Pathibhara from Tuesday (today) to the 8th.

Navin Pomu, campaign coordinator of the 'No Cable Car' group, informed that the agenda is to walk from the headquarter Fungling to Pathibhara and return to the headquarter on Thursday i.e. the 8th. On the 9th, there is a program of Fungling municipality gherao. Since

, a goodwill rally is being held on Tuesday in the capital Fungling in support of the construction of the cable car. Prakash Maden informed that a harmony rally will be held in the headquarters of Fungling on Tuesday in the name of development-loving youth society. Its main purpose is to help in the construction of the cable car. 

It is said that the rally is going to be held with the support of Amir Maden, the head of Fungling municipality. Organizers said that the rally will start from the Community Building City Hall and will go around the city. 

In Taplejung, there are activities both in support and opposition to the cable car construction. The construction work has not stopped. Indra Kedem informed that the construction of the sub station near Kafleparti is going on and the tree felling and chipping work has been completed from the sub station to the temple. 

Chief District Officer Netra Prasad Sharma informed that the security arrangements have been tightened in view of the rally and march on both sides. Security personnel have been added in Kaflepati and Pathibhara areas. Nepal Police and Armed Police are present in Kafle Pati and Upper Fedi.  Pomu said that religious gurus of Hindu, Buddhist, Kirat and other religions have been invited for the walk. "It is not certain who will come," Pomu said.

Pomu informed that he was going to pray to Yumamang for the destruction of the physical structure in the religious place.
