Due to the lack of fire engines, there is a problem in controlling the fire going on in Halesi market. The fire that started from the local Padmasher Rai's gas shop around seven o'clock on Sunday evening destroyed the house of Padmasher and his neighbor Airakh Rai.
According to Vimala Rai, head of Halesi Tuwatchung municipality, since there is no fire engine in Halesi Tuwatchung municipality, efforts are being made to control the fire by carrying water with tractors.
"Diktel Rupakot Majhuwagadi's fire engine has also broken down, there is no driver to operate Okhaldhunga's fire engine, Udaipur Katari's fire engine has been called but it took 4 hours," said Rai, "We are trying to control it by carrying water from tractors."
District Police Office Khotang Deputy Superintendent of Police Pratik Bista has said that the fire is out of control. "It has been heard that there is a very big fire," Bista said, "Even so, I am going to the scene, I will know what it is."
