There is snowfall in Pathibhara region. Rajendra Mahat, an employee of the Pathibhara Area Development Committee, informed that it had snowed from the upper foothills.
The snow is going to make it a bit uncomfortable for the passengers to walk. Mahat said that there are around 150 pilgrims going to Pathibhara on Sunday morning.
This is also the first time that snow has fallen from the upper foothills of the 3100m altitude to the Pathibhara region. Snow 24 Locals have said that it is below the 100-meter Kaflepati and is thin.
This year, there is no snow in Taplejung like in previous years.
