Zinc sheets and utensils have been provided to the affected people of Fidim Municipality of Panchthar, who were left homeless due to the floods and landslides that occurred from 9th to 12th October.

In collaboration with Fidim municipality, Caritas Nepal has distributed stationery to 250 students including zinc sheets and utensils to 125 affected people. Those materials were distributed on Sunday through a program organized in Fidim municipality. Among the materials distributed are cooking pressure, Karai, cooker, filter jug, plate and dadu-panyu with zinc leaves, forks and washers at the rate of 3 bundles per family .

Similarly, stationery materials including bags and copy pens have been distributed to the students. Mayor Mitraprasad Kafle informed that materials worth 43 lakh rupees have been provided to the victims of Fidim through Caritas. In the

event, representatives including Mayor Kafle, Deputy Mayor Radhakrishna Neupane and Caritas Nepal's head of firefighting branch Shankar Kumar Paudel handed over the materials to the flood victims.
