According to Prajin Hangwang, Executive Director of Pathibhara Area Development Committee, 1 million 40 thousand 300 rupees has been collected during this period.
From January 15th to 22nd, traffic was closed on Mechi Highway and Tamor Corridor entering Taplejung. During the shutdown, Nepal Police and Armed Police rescued the pilgrims and took them to their destination. He also escorted the pilgrims to Pathibhara by serving food in his mess and escorting them in government vehicles.
