A dead body of a man was found in Karki river in Sirwani village of Sahidbhoomi rural municipality-3 of Dhankuta. District Police Office Inspector Bishnu Khadka informed that the dead body of a 40-year-old man wearing a yellow t-shirt and blue jeans paint was found.
"Locals saw the body and informed the police," Khadka said.
According to the locals, two weeks ago, an unknown couple came to the village. The police believe that the body of a male person may be among them. According to the locals, the couple, who hails from Sunsari's Chakraghati house, had come to the village two weeks ago. It is said that they stayed in the village for two days and have not been in contact since then.
