A special team deployed from the area police office, Chainpur, has arrested Gautam Lingthep, the absconding defendant in the extortion case.
After 5 years, he was arrested by the police from the village, who was hiding in Madi Municipality-8. Lingthep was hiding in India after being forced. DSP Daksh Kumar Basnet said that the police arrested him after finding that he had returned home only a few days ago.
