A person has died after being hit by a goliath tree in Dhankuta's Chaubise rural municipality-8 Basantatar.
According to the police, the deceased is 27-year-old Mausham Chemjang of the local Choubise Rural Municipality-7 Lofadin. On Tuesday afternoon, he was shot by the same bullet while cutting wood placed on the road to prepare for transportation.
Inspector of District Police Office Bishnu Khadka informed that the seriously injured Chemjong died on the way while being taken to Dharan for treatment. He informed that the incident is being further investigated.
