A person has died due to beating in Kamal rural municipality-7 of Jhapa. According to District Police Office Jhapa, 45-year-old Devlal Chaudhary died of beating.
Punya Prasad Bastola, 37 years old of the same place, hit Chaudhary with a stick during a general dispute and injured him on January 17. The injured Chaudhary died during treatment at Life Line Hospital Damak.
The local police office, Damak, said that Bastola, who was involved in the incident, has been taken into custody. The police also said that they are investigating the incident further.
