Four people were injured in a clash between 'No Kevalkar Group' and the police in Pathibhara area on Saturday. A clash took place between the two sides at Baludanda, one kilometer above Kaflepati.
District Administration Office Taplejung informed that three armed policemen were injured in the clash. Similarly, the protesters have claimed that one of the protesters was shot by the police.
Chief District Officer Netra Prasad Sharma said that the police team went to search after receiving information that the protestors had hidden weapons and at that time the protestors attacked the police by throwing stones from above. He also informed that three khukuri, slingshots and other items were recovered from the protestors.
"Our (APF) and Nepal Police team went to study based on the information that they were doing wrong while sitting in the upper Fedi area," Deputy Superintendent of Armed Police Naresh Maharjan said, "After they attacked from above, our team fired tear gas ."

After Indra Kedem of Himalayan Construction, who was entrusted with the construction of Kevalkar, said that the work would be started within 15 months, the agitating group warned that if the construction was not stopped, they would go on strike and other protests.
