A dead body of a man was found on the banks of the Tamor river which flows through Panchthar and Tehrathum. The body of a 30-year-old man was found lying on a sand dune at the ghat on the border of Panchthar's Tumbeva Rural Municipality-1 and Tehrathum's Chhathar Rural Municipality.
On Wednesday, after seeing the body, the locals informed the police station Nawa Khola. On receiving the news, the police team deployed from the temporary police post Nawakhola and district police office Panchthar rescued him and brought him to Panchthar district hospital for post-mortem.
Information Officer of the District Police Office Police Inspector Binalal Sah informed that the identity of the dead body is yet to be identified.
