The Chief Minister of Koshi Province, Hikmat Kumar Karki, has said that he has put forward a plan to facilitate Indian tourists in visiting Nepal. He made this public by saying that he is preparing to celebrate 2082 as 'Koshi Tourism Year'.

 

 

Chief Minister Karki has also expressed his commitment to eliminate the unnecessary checks and problems of currency notes faced by Indian tourists when they come to Nepal with media persons from Nepal and India at Koshi Tappu in Sunsari. He informed that the tourists from Bihar and West Bengal will be coordinated and prepared to enter Nepal. He also said that the budget will be increased from next year by increasing investment in the tourism sector.
