The Chief Minister of Koshi Province, Hikmat Kumar Karki, has given various instructions to speed up the performance of the provincial government.

Speaking at the half-yearly review program of the provincial government's financial year 2081/82 on Friday, he directed that the process of file agreement between the ministries be completed within 2 to 5 days.

Chief Minister Karki directed to complete all interaction and conference programs by May 15 and criticized the trend of holding many programs at the same time towards the end of May. He urged the ministers and secretaries to work together for at least three to four days a week and said that the state of budget expenditure was not satisfactory.

Aiming at the session of the state assembly that will begin on January 7, the chief minister directed the ministers to quickly submit new bills and laws that need to be amended. He also instructed to give answers to the questions raised in the provincial assembly within a week. In the

program, Minister of Internal Affairs and Law Revathiram Bhandari stressed the need to work through laws and regulations. Principal Secretary Kedarnath Sharma directed the ministries to increase the capital expenditure and work according to the deadline.
