'Mundum Trail Tour Year 2025' has started. On the occasion of Kirat Yele Dong (Kirat Samvat) 5085, Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Minister Badri Prasad Pandey and former Minister Sudan Kirati inaugurated it on Tuesday in Chakhewa.

At the beginning of the tour year, a five-day cultural tourism and agricultural fair was organized in Chakhewa from Tuesday in the organization of Temkemayu rural municipality. Various cultural tableaus and agricultural products have been displayed at the fair.  

Ramesh Rai, one of the organizers of the trail tour year 2025, said that the target is to bring in about one lakh tourists in the year. Rai said that various programs related to tourism are organized according to the season during the visit year.

According to him, in the year of the visit, Gurans and horse riding festival, film shooting festival, Kepilasgarhi rural municipality of Khotang, honey hunting festival and Gothste festival in Khotang village, Undhouli-Ubhouli Sakela and other cultural festivals in Sakela rural municipality, red panda and Thar festival will be held in Diktel Rupakot Majhuva Garhi municipality during the visit year.
