A Beilibridge has been installed at the place where the bridge was swept away by the flood on October 12th. The belay bridge was installed on the Sunkoshi River at Phoksingtar on the border of Khotang and Udaipur under the Sagarmatha Lokmarg and inaugurated on Saturday.
The Belybridge was inaugurated by Koshi Province Physical Infrastructure and Health Minister Bhupendra Rai. Minister Rai said that although the tender was invited for a detailed estimated cost of 1 crore 29 lakh 46 thousand 77 rupees, Aryan Construction Multipurpose Pvt.
The construction company had signed an agreement on 28th November to be completed by January. A 50-meter belay bridge has been installed at that place. The said Belybridge connects Khotehang Rural Municipality-9 Lichkiramche and Rautamai Rural Municipality-6 Ampatar of Udaipur.
A direct transport connection with the Terai has been connected after the connection of Beili Bridge. Rajan Acharya, president of Khotang Industry and Commerce Association, said that this will reduce the prices of daily necessities and other materials.
