Agriculture and livestock fair exhibition has been organized in Khotehang Rural Municipality. The exhibition was organized on Saturday at Hatia in Khotangbazar.

Parsi, Mula, Golvenda, Lemon, Orange, Kiwi, Cauliflower, Banana, Bee, Rooster, Ranga, Khasi, Bangur etc. were exhibited in the fair.  Mandira Adhikari of Khotehang-8 Simpani Barre has won the first place in the

animal category. She has won 10,000 awards. Similarly, Sujan Shrestha from Khotangbazar Mulabari came second and Mithuman Shrestha from Mulabari came third. They won eight thousand and six thousand respectively.  

Similarly, on the Khasi side, Hiralal Bista of Khotang-5 Chipring was first, Mamit Rai of Khotangbazar was second and Umesh Bhattarai of Khotang Bazar was third. They won prizes of Rs 8,000, Rs 6,000 and Rs 4,000 respectively.

On the side of Bangur, Chandrakala Pariyar of Khotangbazar came first, Indra Bahadur Rai second and Yuvraj Rai third. They won prizes of Rs 8,000, Rs 6,000 and Rs 4,000 respectively.

In agriculture, the first place in 14 different categories won 3,000, the second place 2,000, and the third place 1,000 prizes, according to the rural municipality. Jantedhunga rural municipality chairman Aruna Devi Rai was the chief guest at the exhibition, with 70 animal and poultry stalls and more than 100 stalls for agriculture. 

Village chairman Udim Bahadur Rai said that the fair was organized to increase the income of farmers from agriculture and livestock. 

The crop science students of the local Bhagati Mavi held an exhibition on agriculture. They were rewarded with 10,000 cash as honor and encouragement.
