Tata Sumo going from Diktel to Kathmandu vandalized

A Tata Sumo traveling from Diktel to Kathmandu was vandalized. Tata Sumo No. 1 J 6172 was vandalized on Wednesday evening at Patlekhet in Bhakundebensi, Kavre under BP highway.

People in a private car coming from the opposite direction vandalized a Tata Sumo No. 1 J 6172 of Tuwachung Maratika Transport Pvt.

Transport Pvt. Chairman Tekindra Rai said that the driver Keval Rai drove the vehicle to Kavre police station after vandalism on Sumo traveling to Kathmandu with passengers. "It has been reported that Kavre police have arrested the person involved in car vandalism by taking drugs," Rai said, "There should be legal action and proper compensation for those who do chaotic activities." Rai said that another vehicle was arranged for the stranded passengers to reach their destination. Police Deputy Superintendent Meen Bahadur Ghale said that on the basis of the video clip that was released after the incident, nine people were arrested on suspicion of being involved in vandalizing the vehicle.
