Khotehang rural municipality has distributed warm jackets to senior citizens in winter. Jackets have been distributed to 35 senior citizens of Likuwapokhari village-1 as part of the senior citizens honor program.

Village chairman Udim Bahadur Rai said that warm jackets were distributed to senior citizens by organizing a program at Likuwapokhari ward office on Tuesday and Wednesday. He said that warm jackets will also be distributed to senior citizens of other wards. Chairman Rai said that the rural municipality has allocated a budget of 9 lakh rupees for the current financial year.

Rai said that jackets will be distributed to 300 senior citizens across the municipality from this budget. "Warm jackets were distributed to 35 senior citizens in Likuwapokhari," he said.

In the program organized in Likuwapokhari, the village municipality informed that biometric renewal and national identity card forms were also filled.
