Sakela rural municipality has started distribution of social security allowances through the operation of camps in the wards, targeting the senior citizens and disabled and disabled beneficiaries. The second quarter amount reached every ward and distribution started from last Sunday.

Rural Municipality President Ravi Prakash Rai said that the joint team of Shibir Rural Municipality, Nepal SBI Bank and Nepal Police has started the distribution. He said that the camp was organized for those who could not reach the bank and get allowance due to geographical difficulty and physical disability. "Social security allowances have been distributed through camps to the elderly and those who cannot walk in each ward," he said. 

On the first day of the camp, an amount of 1.3 lakh 21 thousand was distributed to one hundred and eight beneficiaries in the camp held at the ward office of Ward No. 2 Ratancha of the rural municipality.  On the second day of the

camp, 882,000 stipends were distributed to 75 beneficiaries in the camp organized at Ward No. 1 Banjhechandanda, said Anil Kumar Mahato, representative of Nepal SBI Bank. 

On the third day on Tuesday too, Chandeshwari Basic School Camp was conducted at Dandagaon of Ward No. 1, Banjechandanda, Social Security Branch Coordinator DM Chamling said. Chamling said that the social security allowance will be distributed on January 24th at the ward office of rural municipality-3 Khidima, on January 25th at the ward office of 4 Mattim and on the last day of the camp on January 26th at the ward office at 5 Mattimbirta. 

In the second quarter of the current financial year, Chamling told that 1 crore 34 lakh rupees were disbursed for 1 thousand 333 beneficiaries. "There are 1,333 beneficiaries of social security allowance in Sakela," Chamling said, "We have disbursed 13.4 million rupees for them."
