Rescue of four children

Four people, including a child, who were locked in the room, were rescued. Maya Ghar Nepal rescued a 9-year-old boy from Aiselu Khark Rural Municipality-1 Rakhabangdel, a helpless 9-year-old girl, and an 11- and 12-year-old boy from Diktel Rupakot Mazhuwagadhi Municipality-14 Buipaka, who have been locked up in their house for 6 years.

Dinesh Rai of Diktel Rupakot Mazhuwagadhi Municipality-14 Bui Pak said that four children were rescued in a hostage situation in coordination with District Police Office Khotang and related ward offices. "All the four rescued people have been sent to Itahari by ambulance," Rai said, "They have been sent to Maya Ghar Nepal for their upbringing, education and health treatment." Due to poor economic conditions, treatment was not possible. Another girl from Rakhabangdel is without support because she has no father and her mother is also married to someone else. The father of the rescued Buipaka child has been missing for five years. He has become helpless as his mother is also married to someone else. Buipa Ward President Rai said that he was rescued from the condition of living in a neighbor's house without help.

The father of another child of Buipaka is a disabled person. His mother is chronically ill and his father is also physically disabled, so he was rescued because of problems in upbringing, education and health treatment, said Ward President Rai.
