Suspicious objects were found in three different places in Sunsari this morning. The police suspect that the suspicious object may be an explosive substance or a bomb.

According to the police, suspicious items were found near the entrance of Itahari sub-metropolitan office, under the bridge of Budhi Khola on the border of Sunsari and Morang, and near Dharan's Bhote bridge.

The bomb disposal team of the Nepali Army has now reached the spot to confirm and defuse the suspicious item kept in a black bag.

Police suspecting that the object seen in a large size may be an explosive substance, they did not allow anyone to go near the object.

The army team first neutralized the suspicious item in front of the gate of the sub-metropolitan city, then identified and neutralized the suspicious item placed in other places, Superintendent of Police Sumankumar Timsina informed.
