Free residential arrangements have been arranged for Dalit, poor and helpless children in Lakshmi Secondary School located in Jantedhunga Rural Municipality-3 Kahule. Free residential arrangements have been arranged to expand access to education for all.
In the first phase, free education with accommodation has been started for 19 children studying here, said village president Aruna Devi Rai. "Free housing arrangements have been arranged for poor, Dalit and helpless children so that no one is deprived of the bright sun of education," she said. She told that two teachers and one employee were managed for the
free education program. "Teachers and staff assigned to the school have been arranged to supervise and teach the children around the clock," she said.
The residential school program, which is currently being run in one of the school's buildings, was inaugurated on Sunday by the member of the House of Representatives, Ram Kumar Rai. Principal Krishna Bahadur Rai said that there are 265 students studying in the school up to class 10.
