Mukundakrishna Thapa has been elected as the President of the National Independent Party Khotang. The first district meeting held on Saturday elected Thapa as the president.
A ten-member district committee has been formed under the chairmanship of Thapa. The committee has Suman Khatri as secretary, Rajan Adhikari as joint secretary and Tank Magar, Prakash Adhikari and Tara Dahal as members. A deputy chairman and three members will be nominated on the basis of inclusiveness and geography, said Ashish Thapa, leader of RSWP Khotang.
Tosima Karki, the central member of the RSVP and the member of the House of Representatives, and the co-spokesperson Ramesh Prasain Diktel came to gather the district. After the open meeting at the local helipad, a closed session was held in the hall of the District Coordination Committee.
