Chapir driver died in a truck in Ilam. 38-year-old Kumar Tamang of Panchthar's Hillihang Village-7 Bharapa died when a truck was being repaired in Salleni, Mangsebung Village-3.
SP Prabhu Prasad Dhakal, Head of District Police Office, Ilam, informed that the truck No. 3 B 6037 loaded with Goliya broke down on the Ravi-Damak road section at Falgunand Marg and died during the repair process.
After the nut bolt of the wheel was broken during the repair, the driver Tamang was crushed to death while carrying out the repair. Dhakal says that as soon as the body of the deceased Tamang was prepared and the legal process was completed, it was sent to Damak in Jhapa for post-mortem.
