At the confluence of Sankhuwasabha, Tehrathum and Taplejung, Tinjure Milke Jalajle (TMJ) area and Makalu, 2 new buildings with facilities have been constructed for the police.

After the construction of the police building, which has been serving from a rented house for a long time, they have started serving in their own police office. Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Chandra Kuwer Khapung said that the police station established at Mangalbare, the confluence of Sankhuwasabha, Tehrathum and Taplejung, will help in the promotion of domestic tourism. Inaugurating the

building, Deputy Inspector General of Police Khapung said that the Nepal Police should be improved in terms of infrastructure, skills, facilities and technology. He said that the police will get high morale and infrastructure will play a big role in providing citizen-friendly services.

The two-and-a-half-storey police station building has been constructed at a cost of Rs 1 crore 52 lakh 96 thousand including VAT. The building was constructed by Vinayak Nirman Seva Chainpur.

Similarly, a police station has been opened in Noom located in Makalu rural municipality-5.  Daksh Kumar Basnet, Deputy Superintendent of Police, District Police Office, said that the police station was established with the aim of bringing state services to people's homes.
