While returning home from school in Sahidbhoomi Rural Municipality-3 of Dhankuta, a girl died after falling from a crowd.
Anushka Rai, a 5-year-old student of Panchakrishna Secondary School in Sahidbhumi-4 Pipley, died.
According to the police, Rai fell from the local Chabrung Bhir while returning home with her friends at 5 pm on Saturday. She was seriously injured when she fell down about 300 meters from Bhir.
District Police Office Inspector Bishnu Khadka informed that he died during treatment at Dhankuta Hospital at around 9 o'clock in the night.
The post-mortem of the dead body was conducted at the district hospital on Sunday. In that place, school is conducted on Saturday and weekly holiday is given on Wednesday.
