Madhyapahari Lokmarg has been blocked due to last night's landslide due to rain. Two places in Halesi Tuwachung Municipality-1 Bahunidanda and one place in 3 Chasmitar were blocked due to landslides.
According to Halesi Tuwachung municipality spokesperson Kamal Giri, the road has been blocked due to landslides under Gorumare and Dauthekhola in Bahunidanda. Similarly, Giri said that the traffic was blocked due to a landslide in Baykat near Jorsimal in Chasmitar. "The road has been blocked at both places after the landslide at 11 pm," Giri said, "to open it, the municipality has sent two dozers from both sides. Giri said that the opening of the road was delayed because the Road Department in Khotang and the Madhyapahari Lokmarg dozer were taken to Sindhuli. Giri said that after the road was blocked, the vehicles coming from Kathmandu and Terai were stopped at Dauthe Khola and the vehicles from Diktel-Bhojpur were stopped at Halesi.
