Along with the marketing of tea produced here, an attractive sky dome has been constructed to promote tourism. Kanchanjunga Tea-State and Research Center and Tea-Collectivity, which have been producing organic tea for a long time and sending it to the international market, have built such domes in Fidim-1.

5 Sky Domes have been built with an investment of 1 crore rupees. The builder says . Domes built with cement on the floor and glass on top are attractive. Inside the dome, one can observe the sky with a view of the beautiful scenery outside.

Niranand Acharya, managing director of Kanchenjunga Tea State, who accommodates 10 tourists at the rate of 2 people in each dome here. Domes built in this way are also attractive to look at. Dome Fidim municipality-1 is in a secluded place which can be reached after a 10-minute walk from Kanchenjunga tea estate.

Foreign tourists often come here. Acharya also said that the Sky Dome was conceived because the tourists enjoy the secluded, peaceful and scenic view. He said that the area where the dome was built is also suitable for studying and researching as it is a secluded place to sleep while watching the sky, and to watch the greenery outside from inside.

As there is no air and sound pollution in the dome area, it is said to be suitable for meditation, yoga and meditation. Dome has been put into operation since last March. Kanchenjunga Tea Estate has been producing organic tea for nearly four decades.

The tea produced here goes to various countries including Japan, Germany and America. Tourists and scholars come from all over the country to study, research and test tea in Kanchenjunga. They said that the Sky Dome was built targeting foreign tourists and scholars.
