Most of the roads in the district are blocked. Traffic has been blocked on Gaighat-Diktel Sagarmatha Lokmarg and district roads due to continuous rain.
According to Chief Deputy Superintendent of Police Purushottam Khadka of District Police Office Khotang, most of the roads in the district and Sagarmatha Lokmarg have also been blocked.
Apart from this, traffic was blocked in Golanjor and Fikkal Rural Municipality, and its impact has also been felt in Khotang. In addition, DSP Khadka told that when the road was blocked at Chanouti in Ghurmi of Udaipur, passengers going and coming from Khotang were stranded.
According to DSP Khadka, the obstruction on Diktel-Kharmi, Patheka road in Talkhark of Diktel has been removed by locals and police.
