Godavari: Chharibari

Oops! No! What a mess! Hatterika! How difficult! Jabo also remembers a reference. Like me, do you have a hard time remembering the past? If you can easily remember, then surely I am Mahabodho. I'm sorry. When and at what age did you see flowers, vines, vines and well-organized gardens so that consciousness knows?

I remember - I remember. This is what happened when trying to remember. I remembered the garden in front of the house of the late Chandraraj Kafle, then a resident of Chandranigahpur Ward 1.

...

Like that, I am 7 years old. Until then, Chandranigahpur (now Chandrapur Municipality), where we grew up, was a vast valley touched by the Mahendra Highway. Roots of huge sal, simal, safflower, baj, karma and jamuna trees were visible everywhere on the level ground. Attempts were also made to destroy the roots of trees by setting fire to them in some fields. Late Chandraraj Kafle, who migrated from Kavrepalanchok, Kaflethok in Methinkot, like some other Nepalis in such a village, had a great passion for flowers and gardens. His younger son, famous actor Rajan Kafle, is my best friend.

I used to go to meet and play with him and he used to come to our house. Yes, until then I had seen a well-kept garden in her front yard. There were many kinds of flowers such as syapatri, velvet, Godavari, rose, belli, jasmine, bell, parijat, indrakamal etc. For the first time flowers and gardens entered my early consciousness. That memory stayed thick. Sometimes the villagers would try to pick flowers, but Chandraraj Kafle was upset when they picked flowers from the garden he had made with great pains.

It was heard in the village till later that Chandraraj Kafle was angry and called 'crazy' rather than the villager picking flowers. Well whatever. It was at Chandraraj Kafle's house that I got to know gardens and flowers for the first time in my life. His house was 500 meters east of Chandranigahpur Durgachowk along Mahendra Highway on the south side.

...

The latest combination with flowers, leaves, waves and vegetation is unique. At the age of about 4, daughter Avni Chapagai came to Canada with us and grew up there. 15-year-old daughter Avni is currently studying at Pathshala Nepal Bagdol. She wanted to visit the botanical garden in Kathmandu valley. As a result, the whole family reached Godavari last Saturday.

We reached Godavari garden on 22nd of November. When I returned, I asked my daughter Avni, 'How did you feel?' She replied, 'Fine.' But, it is not because of the daughter. Collisions with leaders, leadership, government and political parties hurt the heart. Which made my head hurt by connecting with many questions, maturity, progress, change, decline and fall.

...

Like an extremist, I neither believe in despair nor exaggeration. I visited Godavari for the first time holding the finger of my late father teacher Shambhuprasad Chapagai during the Meenpachas holiday in 2039. The Godavari Botanical Garden, established 20 years before I set foot, was magnificent and civilized.

Godavari: Chharibari

Flowers, leaves, plants, plants, many plants were beautiful, furnished and arranged. Greenhouses were also immaculately clean, protected, fortified and a symbol of success. On top of that, the 'water fountain' inside the hand was lovely, which excited my teenage mind and brain. That memory is still dark. Others remember the same. But now?

...

Now it is said, comparison is the source of sorrow. In a more positive view, it is called 'like vision, like creation'. It would be one thing to be sad about the poor and the rich. It would be wrong to be disappointed by measuring the very good with the bad. However, comparing the past and the present with yourself is a correct approach. Or it should be said that it is true - the old Royal Godavari Botanical Garden and the current National Botanical Garden Godavari Danda. It must be realistic. Oops, so sad.

...

Currently Godavari Park is under the Ministry of Forest and Environment. Lalitpur District Forest Office is under the guise of that. The Royal Godavari Botanic Garden started after King Mahendra inaugurated it on October 12, 2019. However, 62 years have passed since then.

How many green houses have been added in 6 decades? Has the old greenhouses in Tintak been leveled and preserved? Did you make 'Aha' Godavari compared to the old Godavari? Have more water fountains been built to accommodate the growing population of Nepali? And, did Godavari become more clean than before? The questions are many. Somewhere Godavari is called ``monkey's

Is the process of making coconut in hand not continuing? So it hurts. Anger, passion and resentment run high.

... even people who are aware of how to tell and talk about

should believe the mirage of a person! A prosperous Nepal, a happy Nepali. Among the poorest in the world, the poor Nepalese should say, "Oh, what a well-thought-out observation". It's more about those who can't properly protect and expand a botanical garden of national importance built by the British.

...

Daughter Avni! excuse me

This is the case with the leaders of our generation who are incompetent, short-sighted, wrongly amassing wealth and doing whatever they can to get their hands on money.

However, even the common Nepalis of our generation have become as extreme consumerists as they have become lazy and impatient. After giving up the old habit of growing vegetables, herbs, flowers and fruits in your own yard and home garden. The majority of Nepalis have lost the patience to do so. However, instead of that, the immediate culture has become dominant. Consumerism has eaten up the Nepali people as much as they want. Nothing can be said now where it will lead in the future. The use of artificial and unhealthy items like plastic flowers, garlands, vases, waves is increasing.

Anyway, daughter, there is a situation where your generation should act in a well-thought-out manner. The mistake of creating such a situation was made by many leaders and few people. Anyway, daughter, hope is life. The current laukes of the country could not, did not. Now our hope is for your generation.
