One person was injured when a khukuri was thrown at him during a minor dispute outside the 'Visit Karnali Dohori Sanjh' near Bulbule in Birendranagar, Surkhet.
According to the District Police Office, Surkhet, 33-year-old Jeevan Kumar Shahi, a resident of Kalagaun, Birendranagar Municipality-4, was attacked with a khukuri at around 11 pm on Friday.
He suffered a head injury from the attack. He has been admitted to Karnali Provincial Hospital, Kalagaun for treatment, according to the police.
Police have arrested 19-year-old Roshan Shahi, a resident of Birendranagar 9, 18-year-old Bharat Bogati, a resident of Panchpuri Municipality-8, and 16-year-old Suman Nepali, a resident of the same place, with khukuri on charges of being involved in the incident.
Another person involved in the incident, 26-year-old Harish Rokaya of Panchpuri-5, is absconding. Assistant Inspector of Police at the District Police Office, Yagya Bahadur Shahi, said that further investigation into the incident and the search for the absconding person is underway.
