In Khadachakra Municipality-2, Hulma, Kalikot, a rock that fell from above cut a 33 kV power line near the cliff, causing a power outage in three districts since last night. The national transmission line to Jumla and Mugu, including Kalikot, has been disrupted.
Jay Prasad Pandey, Senior Technician at the Kalikot Electricity Office, said that a team has already been deployed for repairs.
The national transmission line, which comes via Kamal Bazaar in Achham, reaches Mugu via the Karnali Highway.
